I am a dedicated and determined sports journalism major, this is something I've been wanting to do since I was a kid. My parents have said that when I was young, I would be able to recite a sports statistic like an encyclopedia. I crave being able to go to a sporting event and seeing something that nobody else sees or being able to tell a story that otherwise would not have been heard, but at the same time without ever taking myself too seriously. I want to be able to engage with my readers in a personal sense that they get to know me as a person almost as much as they know the teams they are interested in just by following my work. My areas of expertise in sports journalism are baseball and basketball but I'm always willing to take on a new challenge. This is my passion and what I love to do. I have strong writing and editing skills that have been valuable to every publication that I have been a part of.
