I’m a features writer with 15 years of experience in business journalism. Currently I serve as a chief correspondent at Business Insider, where I write our biggest stories about work. My past features have explored hustle culture, executive burnout, salary transparency, WFH, AI, employee loyalty, the white-collar recession, and more. Most notably, in 2022, one of my stories sparked the national debate over quiet quitting. That story was part of a series that was a finalist for the Gerald Loeb Award for commentary. Before joining Business Insider, I spent a decade at Bloomberg as a reporter and editor, covering the economy and the technology industry from San Francisco and Tokyo.
