I have been with Street Spirit for six years, first as editor and now as director. During this time I have become an expert on journalism about homelessness: How to make it, edit it, and teach others the skills they need to cover the issue themselves. I am proud to have developed an editorial program at Street Spirit that gives unhoused people the tools they need to tell their own stories. Now, I am learning the ins and outs of nonprofit development and business management with the goal of growing our project.
