Telling the stories of the people who make up my community has been my passion and honor for almost twenty years. I've always said I love journalism but only recently realized that a huge part of that was the journalists themselves. A broad ranging group of people who make sacrifices every day to help others plot and live their lives. You have to admit, that's pretty cool. Currently, I'm blessed to travel the country training new journalists and investigative journalists. If I'm not on the road training, I'm coaching anchors and reporters, holding bi-monthly virtual training sessions or writing, shooting and editing training videos ranging from how to write actively to anchoring with confidence. It a very cool job...plus, I finally have "Executive" in front of my title.
