Claim your profileI have worked in news operations for more than 20 years. From small towns to big cities, there is little I haven't covered or communities I haven't worked in. I have worked as a reporter and editor at both the local and national levels. As a reporter, I became an expert in True Crime coverage and public safety issues. I worked from the scene of breaking news and would write 5,000-word narratives to provide in-depth information to readers not found elsewhere. Currently, I am a leader on the US news desk for The Independent in New York City, helping oversee a team of 15 reporters covering crime, business, politics, features, exclusives and general assignment stories each day.
