Claim your profileI am a journalist with a science background in biology. I cover wildlife, biodiversity, conservation, and oceans. My work has been published in The Guardian, National Geographic, Undark, and more. I'm currently at Science Magazine and will be joining The New York Times as a reporting fellow in June. I have a master's degree in Science, Health and Environmental Reporting from New York University and a bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidad de las Américas Puebla. Before becoming a journalist, I worked as a field biologist with sharks in South Africa and seabirds on a remote Mexican island.
