She holds a BA Communication (Writing and Cultural Studies)/Bachelor of Laws and Certificate III in Media.WRITINGAmanda has written for Kotaku Australia, Gizmodo Australia, Lifehacker Australia and Junkee, and been nominated for a number of industry awards. She had her first play performed at Short and Sweet when she was 16, and since then has performed her work at the Sydney Writer’s Festival, the Emerging Writer's Festival, and on PAX Australia. She has also been published in The Big Black Thing: Chapter 2, Stories of Sydney, and Westside New Series Vol 2: On Western Sydney. Her monologues 'Red Panda' and 'Pink Hair' were performed as part of ATYP's Fresh Ink showcases.LAWAmanda formerly worked in human rights law, assisting refugees. She also has experience working in two suburban law firms as part of her practical legal training, one of which was under a solicitor specialising in criminal matters.Amanda enjoys comic books, action movies, and video games, and once saw a pigeon explode.
