Wells Society intern at The New York Times reporting from their Investigative Desk.I am a recent graduate of Hofstra University where I received a bachelor of arts in journalism with minors in meteorology and global studies. A native of St. Paul, Minn., I have reported for the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder, the Minneapolis StarTribune, Carnegie-Knight News21 and The Guardian.At Hofstra, I founded of The Clocktower, a student-run news outlet focused on investigative, narrative and multimedia stories. I also served as treasurer of the student chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists.On campus, I’m the president of Black Student Union, a writer for the Hofstra Chronicle, a Pride Guide in Admissions, a national news anchor on Hofstra Today, a dancer on TranscenDance and the editor on Race, Gender and Identity for the Hofstra Clocktower.
