Claim your profileI have over a decade of experience writing, consuming and marketing pop culture, both on camera and off. Currently based in the New York area, my work has been featured in Variety, IGN, Mashable, The Wrap, Uproxx, Polygon, and many more publications. My work history in the entertainment journalism industry includes staffed positions at Entertainment Weekly, The Wrap, Nerdist and TV Guide Magazine. Outside of journalism, I spent two years at Marvel Entertainment, where I served as the PR lead for the brand’s publishing line across all lines of business and helped strengthen community engagement. I also have extensive experience in fundraising and non-profit management thanks to my work as a Development Associate for United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. My strength as a writer and communicator is highlighting the stories behind the stories — the personal deep dives into why and how a character, actor, or piece of pop culture is impactful for an audience. I love using my work to show others why I feel strongly about my passions and connecting with audiences on those interests and bringing a spotlight to issues that deserve attention as well as niche industry content.I am the author of the non-fiction book GEEK GIRLS DON’T CRY: REAL-LIFE LESSONS FROM FEMALE FICTIONAL CHARACTERS and the ongoing middle grade series GAMER GIRLS as well as comics and activity books.
