With 20 years of experience in broadcasting, I am a passionate and creative leader who oversees Iowa PBS, a statewide television network. I have a Master of Science in Digital Audience Strategy from Arizona State University, and I am always looking for innovative ways to engage and inform our diverse and loyal audiences across multiple platforms. I value collaboration, integrity, and excellence, and I strive to contribute to the mission and vision of Iowa PBS as a trusted source of quality educational and cultural content. Previously as the Director of Programming and Production, I managed editorial integrity, budgeting, production processes, and project objectives. I also build community partnerships and collaborations for future content development, and work closely with the Iowa PBS Foundation to generate funding opportunties. Prior to that role, I was a Senior Producer for Iowa PBS, where I managed producers and production technicians during various studio and remote broadcast events, and led several high-profile projects, such as Conversations with Presidential Candidates, Iowa Press Debates, documentaries, ongoing series, and election coverage. I have extensive skills in video production, video editing, and videography, and I hold a FAA Drone Pilot License. I am proud to be part of a team that produces compelling and impactful stories that reflect the issues, interests, and values of Iowans.
