Claim your profileI've had the privilege of working for over 12 years at The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead. I cover the business beat, so I frequently report on the work being done by great organizations like the United Way of Cass-Clay and the Chamber of Fargo Moorhead West Fargo. But my passion is telling the stories of the people behind the businesses and nonprofits in our community. One example is my story about Angie Wetch, a Fargo woman who has fostered over 50 children and works with the North Dakota Heart Gallery to raise awareness about the need for adoptive parents. Another is Tom Anderson, a Moorhead cobbler who has been in business for 50 years and is in the process of turning his business over to his 19th apprentice, Robert Knorr. I think it's important to know our neighbors and to concentrate on what we have in common rather than what makes us different.
