I collaborate with the print and video teams to ensure a cohesive and engaging news product across multiple channels.Before joining Newsweek, I was the Assignment Editor for The National Desk, a national news show based in Washington, D.C., where I coordinated coverage for a two-hour newscast and generated leads daily. I also assisted in the launch of a podcast for a local television station, where I wrote, produced, and edited my own entertainment segment for on-air and online. I have a bachelor's degree in journalism from Florida Atlantic University, and I am passionate about delivering accurate, timely, and compelling news stories.My core competencies include interpersonal communication, multitasking, and team leadership. I have excellent writing, editing, and social media skills, and I am proficient in various digital tools and platforms.
