Previously I was the Executive Digital Editor at The Nation and before that, I was the co-founder and Editorial Director of The War Horse. I'm the recipient of the 2017 HillVets 100 and the 2018 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for Investigative Reporting — and a proud Cal grad. I’m a Washington, D.C., native and graduate of UC Berkeley (BA History) and Columbia University (MS Journalism). My work has appeared in The Washington Post, The Guardian, and Reuters, among others.
