Claim your profileI graduated with honors from the Journalism and Electronic Media program with minors in political science and leadership studies at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in May of 2019. I now anchor the First at Four, 7 p.m. and ABC Tri-Cities newscasts for WJHL-TV in the Tri-Cities area of Tennessee and Virginia. I'm a strong breaking news reporter with live, in-field experience. I've covered the Evelyn Boswell and Summer Wells AMBER Alert cases, protests, investigative stories, and more. My franchise piece, Veterans Voices, where I tell a story about a local veteran or veteran-related issue or topic, runs every Friday. As a main anchor, I also work on other investigative and community related stories. Storytelling has been a passion of mine since I was in high school. I discovered my skill and talent at the Douglas County College of Communication and Information and at my local county communication office. Those experiences lead to various roles and opportunities throughout my collegiate career. I interned at WATE (ABC affiliate) and WBIR (NBC) affiliate in Knoxville. My time at WBIR lead to a part-time visual-storytelling position. I also studied foreign correspondance in Prague, Czech Republic.
