Prior to Economist Impact, Anushree served as the Assistant News Editor at The Economic Times, where she led the expansion of editorial websites and products in the Middle East region. With over six years of experience in media and content, she honed her expertise in content strategy, research, branded content, social media marketing, and B2B marketing. She has a keen eye for digital innovations and trends that create value for readers and clients. Before joining The Economic Times, Anushree was a Senior Manager, Research & Content Strategist APAC at People Matters. In this role, she led media business growth in Australia and New Zealand, established editorial partnerships, and managed a team of writers and gig workers. She spearheaded research products from conceptualisation to implementation, analysed data, interpreted findings, and created data-driven narratives. Anushree also contributed to the design and delivery of event concepts, content strategies, and performance-based content marketing campaigns.
