I've always been a storyteller. I enjoy jumping into unknowns and figuring out the 'why' and 'how' behind things. I've covered public schools for over two years now and even though I lack experience as a student in an American public school, my outsider perspective has led to impactful, award-winning reporting. I enjoy bringing together the powers of data and complicated narratives. I'm obsessed with talking about the evolution of the news and information industry and the intersection of artificial intelligence, ethics and journalism. I'm especially interested in working on tools that can make journalism easier for reporters. Aside from all things news, I'm (almost) always cooking and love raising plants!
