I work at Deseret News on the Opinion team, where I facilitate the publication of op-eds, editorials, and letters to the editor. I also write the daily Utah Today newsletter three days a week and report on a variety of subjects, including breaking local and national news, travel, and food. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Journalism and a minor in Spanish. I enjoy communicating with others, particularly those whose voices are traditionally shunned or ignored, and sharing their stories. My goal is to expand upon the skills I have developed and participate in ethical, responsible journalism as I tell important stories. When I’m not studying or working, my passions include cheering on the Argentine national soccer team, baking cakes and other delicious treats, and reviewing corn dogs on my Instagram (@corndogsworldwide).
