I am a seasoned and versatile journalist with 25 years of experience in working in different media platforms, such as news television, news magazine, and business daily. I am currently an associate editor at The Economic Times, India's leading business daily, where I have been a journalist since September 2012.As an associate editor, I produce high-quality and engaging content for the print and digital editions, covering a wide range of topics and issues that matter to the readers and stakeholders, such as Indian corporates, global finance, investment banking, public policy, and politics. I also manage and motivate a diverse and talented editorial team, ensuring the editorial standards, vision, and strategy of the company are upheld and implemented. Additionally, I leverage the potential of new media and marketing communications to reach and influence a larger and more diverse audience, using innovative and effective tools and techniques. I am also the executive producer of our flagship & award winning podcast The Morning Brief and working towards creating a portfolio of multi media content I am passionate about connecting the dots that join the Indian economy and society with the global world, and providing insightful and analytical perspectives that inform and inspire the public. I am also a learner and an innovator who can adapt to the changing media landscape and embrace new challenges and opportunities. I graduated from Jadavpur University, a reputed institution in India, with a bachelor's degree in history and film studies in 1994.
