After more than a decade of experience as a print and broadcast journalist around New York State and its beautiful Hudson Valley, freelance writer Barbara Reina has combined her down to earth skills as a reporter with her vivid imagination to create her first novel, "Two Husbands-One Wife."​ She continues to be happily married to her one and only love, Vincent, since 1999. A native New Yorker born and raised in the Hudson Valley, Barbara's large and colorful view of the world and the many personalities she has met along the way have infused her characters with realism in the bold and expansive world of science fiction.Barbara started her career in the mid-1980s as an on-air newscaster/reporter at WDST FM in Woodstock, NY. Barbara has written for international publications including The Art Newspaper and Earth Island Journal. She has been published in regional magazines New York Archives, The River/Hudson Valley Newsroom, Hudson Valley Magazine, The Valley Table, HomeStyle Magazine, VISITvortex Hudson Valley, 55+ Life, and Superintendent’s Profile. Barbara has written for various local newspapers, including the Times Union - Hudson Valley. She is the Developmental Editor for Amazon #1 Best-Seller, Food: Eat with Ease Every Day. Filmmaker Barbara Reina is the owner of Barbara Reina Productions, LLC. In 2017, she produced the documentary: BROUGHT TO LIGHT | Unearthing the History of an African-American Cemetery in Kinderhook, NY. She is the author of the Science Fiction/Romance novel: Two Husbands-One Wife. Barbara is currently producing the documentary: Love Canal X 2 | A Landfill Dilemma in Nassau, NY. She graduated SUNY Cortland in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Radio/Television Communications and Journalism.Barbara Reina Productions, LLC was formed in April of 2016.
