Over the span of my career in journalism, I've gained a wide range of experience in writing, assigning and editing copy for both print and online outlets, with an emphasis on creating engaging and accurate copy. I'm also fortunate to have traveled the world with my work, speaking at and covering such events as the MIPCOM and MIPTV television conferences, the Edinburgh International TV Festival, NEM Zagreb, the Banff World Media Festival, the Sunny Side of the Doc documentary conference, MusExpo, the Realscreen Summit and the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, among others. I've also been responsible for the content direction of several market-leading conferences, including the Realscreen Summit, internationally regarded as the world's top conference and market for the non-fiction content industry, held annually in Washington DC; Realscreen West, held in Santa Monica, geared towards the unscripted programming industry and including within its program the annual Realscreen Awards; Realscreen London, aimed at the UK and European non-fiction content markets; the BCON Expo, held in New York City and dedicated to innovation in content marketing; and, in the mid-2000s, the Boards Summit and Creative Workshops, conferences for the commercial production industry.
