Claim your profileI've been a newspaper journalist since 1992, starting at the Canandaigua Daily Messenger from 1992 to 1996. From 1996 to 2014, I worked at the Democrat and Chronicle in Rochester, NY and I've been a contributor at Inside Lacrosse magazine as a writer since 1998. I've written stories for the IL magazine and have worked as a managing editor for ILIndoor.com, an affiliated website of Inside Lacrosse, since its inception in 2007. In 2015, I returned to The Daily Messenger as sports editor and have since won two Associated Press first-place awards for feature writing in sports.Specialties: Sports writing, including outdoors pursuits, but I'm also really drawn to the history of just about anything and love to research origins. Also have a great passion for local history.
