I am passionate about my craft, and seek to enhance my skills through collaboration, research and staying abreast of industry trends. As an expert in writing, editing, videography and photography, I value print and digital communications that deliver timely, interesting and newsworthy stories. The vast majority of my experience has been principally working with newspapers, but I've also adapted my skill-set to include the digital revolution. As an Air Force veteran, my focus was in public relations, media coverage and the base newspaper. I collaborated with local newspapers, television and radio stations in getting out the message of our individual bases, programs, etc. In addition, I was the editor of numerous base newspapers which, in the military, are essentially internal marketing and informational pieces. In the quest to grow professionally and expand my skill set, it's important to me to be an integral part of a dynamic team that provides exceptional communication internally as well as externally to clients, stakeholders and the community at large.
