Claim your profileSince 2014, I have been producing weekly industry lists based on surveys and publicly available data, as well as related articles and data-driven features for the Portland Business Journal's website and printed newspaper.Previously, I was the research director at Oregon Business magazine for 12 years, gathering data for monthly industry lists and articles, also through surveys and public sources. I also managed the 100 Best Companies to Work For in Oregon project and related helped launch the 100 Best Nonprofits and 100 Best Green Companies.I was an interactive producer (writing Javascript self-help quizzes and tools) at the Baby Boomer content website MyPriimeTime.com in San Francisco before it folded during the dot-com bust in early 2001.In the late '90s, I worked in the shareholder correspondence then marketing departments at Franklin-Templeton Mutual Funds writing correspondence and annual shareholder reports.I received a bachelor's in creative writing at San Francisco State University in 1997.
