Claim your profileBefore moving to Columbus, I freelanced full time for nearly a decade in the Chicago/NW Indiana area, writing for media websites, newspapers, magazines and trade publications. Prior to that, I spent 12 years as a full-time sportswriter/columnist for several newspapers in Michigan and Indiana. I've done a little bit of everything in writing, from covering sports to writing features, even authoring a humor column for the Lifestyles section of the Post-Tribune in NW Indiana. While working in the Chicago area, I branched out into other media platforms by doing guest spots on sportstalk radio shows, guest hosting on 670 The Score and doing regular TV appearances on Comcast Chicago's "CSN SportsTalk Live" show. I was the Chicago correspondent for NHL.com and assisted on Blackhawks coverage for The Athletic Chicago, a sports startup site that has grown the past two years at an exponential rate. I also assisted Blackhawks coverage for the Chicago Sun-Times and Arlington Heights (Ill.) Daily Herald in a freelance capacity, along with writing for the Chicago Tribune and the Tribune Co.'s publication, The Red Eye. Not currently looking for a new job, as I'm thrilled to work for the Dispatch.
