I oversee digital strategy at the Detroit Free Press (freep.com), Michigan's largest newsroom, with extensive experience in off-platform strategy, building audience, increasing return visits and growing our base of paying subscribers. My passion is in understanding and connecting with communities by informing, surprising and engaging them in meaningful ways that help better their lives. My commitment lies in leveraging innovative approaches to create impactful and resonant journalism that drives community engagement and fosters lasting connections. In my free time, I enjoy living on a lake with my wife and two pups, as well as reading, cooking, travel and Michigan craft beer.
