Claim your profileBridgette Bello, CEO and Publisher of Tampa Bay Business & Wealth, was the former president and publisher of the Tampa Bay Business Journal for 11 and a half years. She is a longtime media professional with more than 30 years of experience and was the first woman publisher in the newspaper’s 40-year history. She has worked in almost every aspect of the media business from writing for a daily newspaper to buying advertising as a media buyer for ad agencies, and everything in between. Bridgette has run successful sales departments in both print and broadcast positions, as well as award-winning news teams across both platforms. In its first year of publishing, TBBW the magazine was awarded two Charlie Awards by the Florida Magazine Association and, in 2022 won 2 more Charlie Awards. We were named the Best Magazine in the State of Florida, by the Florida Magazine association, in 2022. We are currently finalists for 4 additional Charlie Awards including Overall magazine, Column (personally for my Publisher's Note,) Feature writing and Best Cover for Design. TBBW won Small Business of the Year, in the startup category and was 1 of only 27 companies in the entire country to be a finalist for Small Business of the Year with the US Chamber of Commerce. Bridgette is a formerly Governor Appointed Vice Chair for SPC board of trustees, as well as Board of Directors emeritus for The Spring of Tampa Bay. Member of CEO’S Against Cancer, Florida. Chaired the Alzheimer’s Association Gala 2020 & 2021. And currently serves on the boards of: CEO Council, Centre Club Tampa, I Rise, Leukemia Lymphoma Society of North Florida and is the 2024 co-chair for LLS Light the Night. She is a Project Opioid Tampa Bay Coalition member, Tampa Bay Lives; member STAR Network – impacting retiring special operations officers leaving MacDill through mentorship, introductions, and resume reviews. And donates her time on various nonprofit committees including Tampa Bay Airfest, Charity Polo Classic, Advent Health Gala, Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Central Pasco founding participant, annual CEO Build; World Class Programming, CEO Council. She was the St. Petersburg Chamber Businesswoman of the Year and Best Moms of the Bay. She is the mom of 3 beautiful 28-year-old children, all productive members of society and has her 1st grandbaby on the way.
