Brittany is an Anchor/Reporter at KOAT-TV in Albuquerque, NM (Market DMA 46). She is currently anchoring the 4:00 and 9:00 newscasts, and is the main fill-in anchor for the 5:00, 6:00, and 10:00 evening newscasts. Before being moved to primetime at the start of the Coronavirus Pandemic in March, she was anchoring the weekend morning shows. Brittany started as the weekday morning reporter in June 2018. KOAT's “More in the Morning” newscast won "Best Morning Newscast" in the 2018 New Mexico Broadcasters Association awards. For the newscast that won the award, Brittany was providing live on-the-scene updates from a shooting at a local business. Brittany began fill-in anchoring at KOAT-TV August 2019. Prior to her current roles at KOAT, Brittany graduated from the University of Southern California in June 2018. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, and was awarded with the Outstanding Broadcast and Digital Journalism Scholar Award from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. Brittany was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.
