I'm an experienced news writer and editor who has worked with media professionals of all talents and temperaments. I have experience with SEO, webposting, writing, editing, proofreading, whipping complex copy into creative content, and social media promotion. From 1999-2018 I served as editor of the Hudson Reporter newspaper chain in Hoboken, N.J., posting news to the web, using SEO and social media to promote, writing headlines, and training new writers. I checked copy for legal issues and worked with graphic designers. I've also written articles for the New York Times, Washington Post, Columbia Journalism Review, and Atlantic.com.
