Even from a young age, I knew I was born to tell stories. My earliest memories of storytelling were made on the theatrical stage in my hometown. When I started college at the University of Minnesota, I searched for a major that would reflect everything I’m passionate about: making human connections, staying informed, and most of all, telling stories. Naturally, I fell in love with my introductory journalism course. With a double major in journalism and theatre arts, I'm prepared to conduct interviews with confidence, search for great stories and welcome unexpected changes as a reporter. As I look ahead to my professional career, I hope to tell stories that make effective, positive changes in local communities. I can’t wait to get started.
