Reviews Editor at Eurogamer.net, with responsibilities including managing our reviews section and written criticism; writing reviews; commissioning, managing and editing freelance criticism; taking part in planning and strategic decision-making for the section - and contributing the odd bit of reporting and coverage to other areas of the site when I can find the time! Previously a Staff Writer at Eurogamer.net, writing reviews and both long- and short-form features, criticism, interviews and other coverage, where I originally learned to edit other writers’ work. Before that a Guides Writer, also at Eurogamer - an enjoyably competitive role which granted a huge amount of practical experience in SEO and rapidly-written explanatory, descriptive writing. In my down time I play football, lose myself in film, books and TV, make the (very) occasional short film and try (ambitiously) to remember how to read philosophy - and still play some games! Graduated from University College London with a first class BA in Philosophy in 2014.
