I previously hosted the 5 Live Weekend Breakfast programme and the weekend evening programme, Saturday Edition. I'm also the host of some of the BBC’s most successful True Crime podcasts, including ‘Beyond Reasonable Doubt’ and ‘End of Days’. Both series have been critically acclaimed and have won a series of awards, most notably in the British Podcast Awards. ‘Ecstasy: The Battle Of Rave’, is half real life and half drama. It tells the story of when Ecstasy and Acid House first swept Britain and was named by the Observer as one of the top 10 podcasts of the year. I was a regular reporter on BBC1's The One Show.I have broadcast live and hosted programmes from football World Cups, the Rio and Olympic games, terror attacks, the Grenfell Tower disaster,, the British Grand Prix, the Grand National, the Rugby World Cup, the US Presidential Election from Washington. I presented a programme across all BBC Radio networks shortly after the death of the Queen was announced. I am a stand-in presenter for Nicky Campbell's phone-in programme, broadcasting simultaneously on BBC2, the BBC News Channel and BBC Radio 5 Live. I was also involved in a world first when I reported 'as live' throughout the duration of a heart transplant operation.I'm also a host and compare. Events include The Northern Marketing Awards and an evening with the creator of the globally renowned S-Town podcast.
