I am currently anchor 5pm and 6pm newscasts as well as “The Good Stuff” at 7pm on KGW News in Portland, Oregon. I am also a reporter who can shoot video, write and edit footage, creating my own stories from the ground up.Prior to starting at KGW in 2015, I worked for KOBI-TV NBC 5 News in Medford, Oregon filing stories every day, then anchoring the 5pm & 6pm broadcasts Monday-Friday. Prior to my 5pm anchor promotion, I was a reporter/weekend anchor and producer.Before getting my job in Medford, I received a Master of Science in Broadcast Journalism degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University. During the program I was given the opportunity to file reports from Washington D.C. that aired on WFFT FOX Ft. Wayne in Indiana.I also have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Washington with a major in Communications and a minor in Political Science.During college, interned in the promotions and the Investigative Unit at KOMO-TV in Seattle, Washington.
