When I was ten years old, I witnessed a tornado form right before my eyes, an experience that sparked my curiosity and fascination with weather. This moment ignited my passion for meteorology, and I’ve been driven ever since to understand and communicate the impacts of weather events.At NC State, I’ve developed a range of skills that have shaped my career in meteorology and broadcasting. These include accurately forecasting weather for various regions and seasons across the United States, presenting complex weather information in a clear and engaging way, and operating live weather broadcasts to keep the public informed about critical weather events.I’m currently in my fourth year of broadcasting at WFMY News 2 in Greensboro, NC, where I have gained hands-on experience delivering real-time weather reports, further honing my ability to provide essential information that helps viewers make informed decisions during changing weather conditions.
