I am an Emmy Award winning and multi-platform journalist experienced in front of and behind the camera, with extensive experience in the field and analysing international and UK news with a unique understanding of the Latin American region. I'm always wearing multiple hats in the newsroom and in the field. Exceptional team player skilled in networking and relationship building used to achieve impactful results. Outstanding leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under extreme tight deadlines and react to unpredicted situations. I'm based in London and have been a key part of CNN's coverage of major breaking news and special events in Europe and across the EMEA region since 2006, holding multiple roles at the same time. Being a native Latin American and since the 2020 Covid pandemic, I have also driven CNN’s daily editorial coverage of the region and reported on many stories and issues for digital audiences, including my native Peru. Journalism, story telling and international politics are my passion as well as training the new generation of journalists to face the many challenges ahead.
