Claim your profileClément Girardot is an experienced journalist and editor with a passion for reporting, both internationally and in his native Alps. His work spans emerging technologies, gastronomy, religion, underground culture, climate change, and historical memory. He enjoys exploring original stories that challenge and captivate readers.His articles have been published in French and English by renowned outlets such as Wired, Al Jazeera, The Guardian, Politico, Le Monde Magazine, Le Temps, L'Obs, Mediapart, L'Equipe Mag, Mongabay, and more. In 2019, he received a transnational grant from journalismfund.eu to investigate the trade of Nordmann Christmas tree seeds between Georgia and the EU. In 2016, he received the Nicolas Bouvier 'Young Talent' prize from the Swiss Press Club.He also co-founded and served as the coordinator of the online magazine Mashallah News, dedicated to the social and cultural life of major metropolises from Casablanca to Tehran. During his time there, he oversaw the publication of a non-fiction book about Beirut and conducted training courses for young journalists.
