Cole Thompson is a journalist currently freelancing for multiple websites. Thompson's work has been featured in Bleacher Report, USA Today and SBNation. Most recently, he was the team reporter for the San Antonio Commanders of The Alliance of American Football. Thompson is a graduate of the University of Alabama with bachelor degrees in both Sports Journalism and English, along with a minor in Theatre Performance. During his time at the Capstone, Thompson covered the Crimson Tide Football program for WVA-FM for two seasons as the station's beat writer. Thompson also was the youngest student to be granted his own radio show during his freshman year. He would run "Tide Talk" along with "The Student Section" for three years before graduating in 2016. Thompson has previously worked with ESPN's Monday Night Football, the Houston Texans and Houston Astros along with multiple media outlets as a writer. Thompson has experience in writing, reporting, radio, television, editing and podcasting.
