I'm an award-winning reporter and producer, hailing from Oakland CA. Since 2020, I've served as a local radio news reporter in Alaska - in Petersburg and Haines in Southeast, Homer and the Kenai Peninsula, and for the last two summers covering the commercial salmon fishery in Bristol Bay. I'm particularly interested in rural economies, politics, labor, health, criminal and social justice. I cut my teeth in local news and community radio at KPFA Pacifica Radio covering the San Francisco Bay Area and California.
