I like to tell stories about a wide range of subjects. I’ve reported on street sweeping in Chicago; FOIA in Illinois; park rangers in Atlanta; civil rights in Selma, Alabama; aging farmers in Chippewa County, Wisconsin; and historic snowstorms in Washington, D.C. My work has appeared in outlets like the Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Minneapolis Star Tribune; on the airwaves of NPR and local affiliates like WBEZ and WABE; in a book from the Wisconsin Historical Society Press and in an exhibit at the National Voting Rights Museum and Institute.
