Curtis Tate has covered energy and the environment for West Virginia Public Broadcasting for nearly four years and has experience writing and producing for radio and television. Previously, he spent 18 years as a reporter and copy editor for Gannett, Dow Jones and McClatchy. He wrote extensively about travel, transportation and Congress. His work has won awards from the National Press Foundation and the New Jersey Press Association. Curtis is a Kentucky native and a graduate of the University of Kentucky.
