About

I am an assistant editor for The Straits Times, where I help shape the paper’s coverage of housing issues and politics. I am passionate (and excited!) about journalism’s power to tell stories and help people understand the world around them. I was previously based in ST’s Beijing bureau for five years where my reportage focused mainly on China's foreign policy and various facets of the US-China relationship. I wrote about it in a weekly column - check it out at: https://www.straitstimes.com/tags/st-power-play
