As an Editor at Zee Media Corporation Limited, I am a seasoned, results-driven and passionate media leader with over 26 years of experience in the news broadcasting industry. I belong to the first generation of television journalists in India who are passionate about setting and leading meaningful change through our work. I relay news to empower public participation and catalyse real change in government policy. I have demonstrated my ability to shape the external environment and change the rules of media influence and reach by launching Zee Delhi NCR Haryana in April 2022 and leading Zee Punjab, Haryana and Himachal from 2014 to 2019. I have built and delivered on an inspiring channel vision with a clear and actionable strategy with my programs ‘Ground Zero’ and “Direct with Dinesh.’ I have created and led various innovative and successful campaigns on social issues such as anti-drug, organic farming and clean water in Punjab. I have also worked in senior editorial positions at various reputed media organizations such as Voice of America, Al Jazeera, NewsX, and The Statesman.
