Dominique B. Fluker is a nationally recognized multimedia journalist, editor, content marketer, moderator, and interior design storyteller based in Los Angeles. She is currently the Contributing Lifestyle Editor at ESSENCE Magazine. Previously, Dominique served as Editorial Manager at LinkedIn, SMB Marketing Manager at Instagram, Editorial Content Marketing Manager at Glassdoor, and Content Marketing Manager, Business Accounts and SMB Growth at TikTok. She has created purpose-driven and multicultural content for iconic web and print publications, including Forbes Women, Glamour Magazine, ESSENCE Magazine, Travel + Leisure, Business Insider, Women’s Health, Variety, and more. As a culture and entertainment enthusiast, she has interviewed legendary celebrities such as Oprah, Toni Braxton, John Legend, Tracee Ellis Ross, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Robin Roberts, and Serena Williams, among others. As a moderator, she’s worked with Hulu, Disney, and BET to curate captivating conversations around multicultural films and television programming. As an on-camera red-carpet correspondent, she had the opportunity to cover the Golden Globes, SAG Awards, NAACP Image Awards, and the Oscars. Dominique has been invited to share her expertise on topics such as journalism, career, and culture at the University of Southern California, on-air for EXTRA TV, Betches Media, KBLA 1580, as well as notable podcasts. Her work has been featured on The Tamron Hall Show. Additionally, Dominique has found solace in curating physical spaces while creating a name for herself at the intersection of digital content curation and editorial storytelling. She believes interior design is an extension of thoughtful storytelling. 2021 marked Dominique's official foray into professional interior styling with the launch of her first business, DBF Interiors. She has been featured as an interior design expert in Apartment Therapy, Architectural Digest, and more. Dominique has a Master of Arts in Specialized Journalism from the University of Southern California. At USC, she was a Charlotta Bass fellowship recipient and a Cowan scholar. In 2025, the Black Female Therapists organization named her a Top 25 Trailblazer in Mental Health and Wellness.
