Claim your profileOne of my journalism mentors once said that I am a "jack-of-all-trades."I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Oregon's School of Journalism with a Bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in sociology. I am a transfer student from South Puget Sound Community College, where I earned my Associate's in Arts in 2019.I have experience as a news/sports writer, publisher, layout designer, podcast host, graphic designer, video editor, broadcaster, and social media manager. My Twitter profile has over 7,400 followers, including several NBA teams, and has had tweets featured on BET, Washington Post, and NBA.com. I have passionately worked with teams involved with sports and/or journalism since I wrote for my fifth-grade newsletter.I began my journalism career in high school, writing for the newspaper and working with the broadcast team. At South Puget Sound Community College, I helped to usher in the first colored news magazine at the college, writing news stories and designing the layout. At the University of Oregon, I worked with Duck TV Sports and have traveled to cover the Pac-12 Football Championship Game in Los Angeles and the Pac-12 Women's Basketball Tournament in Las Vegas. I worked with KWVA Sports 88.1 FM Eugene and have provided color and play-by-play commentary on a softball broadcast.I have also had more than five years of experience with Photoshop and graphic design, creating designs, logos, phone wallpapers, and YouTube thumbnails for dozens of clients through Twitter. My thumbnails and logos have been featured on multiple YouTube accounts with millions of views, and my graphics have been noticed and/or shared by athletes such as Shaquille O'Neal, Sabrina Ionescu, Charles Woodson, and more.Let's connect!
