I'm a digital junkie-turned-journalist with a passion for serving the local community. After stints in Phoenix and Dallas, I've returned to Seattle as Director of Digital Media. I work across departments to best position our digital products for success. My days are a mix of content strategy, breaking news coverage, marketing, sales, and training -- and every once in a while I still write a story, send a push alert or post to Facebook. I rely on analytics tools and metrics to learn what our audience is interested in and drive news coverage that resonates with them. I oversee our digital content team, and work closely with other members of our team to optimize our content for all platforms. I also collaborate with the rest of the newsroom to guide editorial decisions and create content that our audience cares about.
