I am an experienced communications professional working as Interim Lifestyle Editor (maternity cover) in RTÈ Guide on cover features, inside interviews and features as well as my set weekly pages across beauty, fashion, wellness, interiors and travel.Before this I was working full-time as a freelance journalist, editor and PR for a number of different national publications and PR companies.Prior to that I worked as an Account Manager for Wilson Hartnell as the day to day account manager for brands such as Guinness and Gordon’s. Prior to this I worked as a journalist and editor across some of Ireland’s leading publications including: The Sunday Independent, Sunday Independent LIFE and LIVING, VIP magazine, STELLAR magazine, Woman’s Way magazine and KISS magazine. I have had my work published on websites including vipmagazine.ie, stellar.ie, independent.ie and womansway.ie. For over three and a half years I worked as Staff Editor and Fashion Editor of VIP magazine in addition to being a contributor to their sister publication STELLAR magazine. Within these roles I looked after photoshoots, interviewed celebrities for long-form features, wrote shorter celebrity news-pieces and interviews, as well as looking after the fashion, wedding, and social sections. As well as my vast editorial experience I have contributed to various radio and television shows including slots on The Ryan Tubridy Show, The Tracy Clifford show, Highland Radio, The Late Late show as well as being a regular panelist on The Elaine Show. I have also co-hosted as a guest presenter on Stellar magazines podcast The Glow Up.I featured in Irish Country magazine for their Women in Ireland series entitled: The Gamechangers. I was shortlisted for the NewsBrand Journalism Awards in the features journalist of the year category while working for The Sunday Independent.
