Claim your profileIn the fifth grade, I won the D.A.R.E. essay contest. Since then, I’ve written for Bon Appétit, Architectural Digest, Food 52, The Cut, The Kitchn, Food & Wine, Gourmet, Taste, Epicurious, BuzzFeed, Country Living, ELLE Decor, Hunker, BUST Magazine, Women’s Wear Daily, CNN, The Daily Beast, and many more websites and publications you’ve actually heard of (and, yes, I know one shouldn’t end a sentence with a preposition, but it sounds so snooty any other way). My first cookbook was published by a Penguin imprint in 2008, and I later contributed to Charlotte Druckman’s "Women on Food" anthology as well as "The BUST DIY Guide to Life." I ghost wrote a self-help book I'll tell you about over drinks. In 2004, my essay collection "I'll Just Be Five More Minutes: And Other Tales from My ADHD Brain" was published by Hachette Books. Beyond editorial and essay writing, I’m one of those weirdos who truly loves the challenge of creating branded content—whether I’m telling a story, writing a service piece, or developing a recipe to showcase a product or brand. I’ve worked with Food Network, HGTV, the Washington Post Brand Studio, Eater, and others to produce pieces for Home Depot, Starbucks, KitchenAid, Capital One, Google Express, French’s, Coca-Cola, Boar’s Head, Cabinets to Go, Boulevard Brewing Company, and many more household names.
