Hi there! I'm writing an upcoming article for Indeed -- the world’s #1 job site -- about a challenge many hiring teams face: receiving a high volume of job applications, but struggling to find candidates who are actually a good fit. I'm looking to speak with a recruiter, recruiting manager, or talent acquisition leader who has firsthand experience managing large applicant pools. I'd especially love to connect with professionals in industries like retail, hospitality, or other businesses that experience high-volume or seasonal hiring. A few topics I'm hoping to explore: What are the biggest challenges you've faced when managing a high volume of applications? How do you identify quality candidates beyond what's listed on their resumes? Have you implemented any strategies, tools, or changes to your hiring process that have helped you find better-qualified candidates? What advice would you give other hiring teams struggling to balance application volume with candidate quality? I'd love to hear real-world examples of what's worked (or hasn't worked!) for your team. If you're interested in sharing your experience, please send along your name, title, company, and a little about your recruiting background. I'm happy to coordinate a quick interview or gather your insights over email, whichever is easiest! Thanks so much! Looking forward to connecting.
