Hi, I'm Eric, a reporter with more than two decades of media and communications experience. My school and work background include everything from journalism, history and customer service, to book publishing, Internet tech support and the restaurant industry.I worked up a voracious appetite for news thanks to my news junkie dad, who consumed it daily via radio, TV and newspapers.Growing up in the suburbs of Long Island, NY, I attended schools in Queens, NY, and Jerusalem, Israel before moving to Athens, Ohio in 1997.After earning my bachelor’s of science in journalism from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, I worked as an assistant editor at both F&W Publications and The American Israelite before covering Butler and Warren counties for Cox Enterprises, first via weekly newspaper Pulse-Journal, then Journal-News.
