I'm working on a feature for the Daily Mail about the modern safari hunting industry and am looking to speak with people who have firsthand experience with safari hunting expeditions. I’m especially interested in hearing from: People who have taken part in a safari hunting expedition in Africa or elsewhere Professional hunters, safari guides, trackers, outfitters, or camp staff who have led or worked on these trips Conservation experts or regulators with direct knowledge of how these hunts are organized and monitored People with firsthand knowledge of legal, gray-market, or illegal safari hunting operations I’m looking for vivid, specific, firsthand stories: what clients pay for, what happens in the field, how guides manage risk, what regulations exist, and what outsiders often misunderstand about the industry. Sensitive experiences can be discussed on background if needed. Please include a brief description of your experience, where and when it took place, and whether you are willing to speak by phone.
