Claim your profileFederico Scoppa (Italy 1976) is a Franco-Italian documentary photographer focused on social issue and under-reported social conditions. He started his professional photographic career in 2003 as a fine art photographer. In 2007 he turned to photojournalism covering social issue in Italy. He has been working in Europe, United States, Middle East and Africa since 2010. Since 2012 he has been shooting video with DSLR cameras. During the past years Federico contributed to various book editors and international magazines. His work appeared in numerous international publications amongst which Time, The Guardian, Le Figaro. After a period in Palestine, Gaza and Israel, Federico was is based in Kinshasa DRC, working as freelance photojournalist and as a stringer for the Agence France Press, AFP. Now he is based in Italy working of migrants and refugees issues in Europe.
